Icehouse Canyon Trail #198

Icehouse Canyon Trail is one of the shortest descending trails on Pinal Mountain. While the actual trail is just under 2 miles long you can extend your bike ride or hike by utilizing lower telephone trail. This trail holds the closest aspen stand to Phoenix and is much cooler during the summer months than many of the trails on Pinal Mountain. This trail drops at a pretty fast rate through aspens and pines as it makes it way down the canyon. Telephone is a great way to extend your journey towards Icehouse CCC day use area and is preferred over the admin road
